I had my regular eye exam back in December as a new client and I was very impressed with Nilsen Eye Care. Having worn corrective lenses almost my entire life, I have seen quite a few Optometrists and these guys are BY FAR the best! The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable and personable - something really lacking in todays society. I couldn’t recommend Nilsen Eye Care enough!!

I went today as a new patient and saw Dr. Jarrell at the Powhatan location. Everyone there was so kind and pleasant. I was in and out with an eye exam, pictures taken, and glasses ordered in under an hour!

Switched from Va Eye Institute. I have to say I was absolutely thrilled with the professionalism. From front desk to a very knowledgeable Dr. Stacy who listened to me, asked me medical history ,examined further, he was patient and caring about any concerns. He did not rush my concerns and saw me on the drop of a dime when I had an emergency. Honestly so far my family has never been more impressed with the care provided by any provider since the final switch. So thank you to my doctor and the rest and all the staff for the friendliest greetings and care! We really appreciate you.
