The shop is very clean and they take extra measures to ensure you have a great experience. They offer beverages and coffee and clean the stations in between customers.

“This was my second visit and just love the work Bekah puts in to each session. After thinking I ruined my entire head- I left feeling it was all intentional. She never shames me or makes me feel my dreads were beyond help- and really should come more often - if I didn’t live so far ( which is why it’s so hard for me to go get routine maintenance anywhere). “I've been going to Atir for many years for pedicures. It's pricey, but I usually buy the five pack to bring the cost down a bit and at least cover tips. I love that when you walk in it does not smell like a nail salon and is cozy and tastefully decorated. That is why I've been going here for years. I've been to both the short pump and Cary Street locations. Usually pretty consistent service. You can't sign up with one person so you get whoever is on rotation which is mostly fine but every once in a while, I don't get as good a foot massage or attention to detail.“
