Based on the reviews, Hamlet Cleaners Inc. is a great company for textiles, especially after a fire or water damage. This family business is locally owned and operated in Richmond Va and has worked for Insurance companies for some time. The owner is one of the most kindest and gentlest people. He is never in a rush or a hurry and always listens. His extra effort to care for families led them to quickly move into a comfortable house. Their work is quick with a week turnaround for rush orders. Hamlet Cleaners restored clothing and linens from fire damage. They were extremely professional and kind from beginning to end. Customers were invited to the warehouse to retrieve needed items. When items were returned, the organization was truly mesmerizing. Boxes had printed labels making everything perfectly identifiable. Every box had impeccably folded clothing, towels, and sheets. Their attention to detail made the return home an easy task. It is an honest, communicative, and helpful family business with years of experience.

Tom, who’s the owner, is one of the most kindest and gentlest people I have met. My family had a house fire after buying and living in our home for only 3 months. He was one of the first few points of contact aside from the fire department. He was so helpful, reassuring and kind. He connected me directly with someone who worked with insurance to house displaced folks. His extra effort to care for my family led us to quickly move into a house close by and was comfortable versus a hotel or friends’ home. I wish I could give 100 stars. Hamlet Cleaners restored the clothing, linens. etc. from any damage due to a fire in our home. They were extremely professional and kind from beginning to end. When we needed a few items, we were invited to the warehouse to retrieve anything we needed. When our items were returned to our home this week, I was truly mesmerized by the organization. The boxes were labeled with printed labels making everything perfectly identifiable while we unpacked. Every box I opened had impeccably folded clothing, towels, sheets, etc. Every detail from how ties were folded on hangers to not a wrinkle in sight of 3 very full closets, 3 dressers, and beyond....read full review
