“I have enjoyed this animal hospital for my black lab. I transferred from Vienna, which I also liked, but happen to like Reston more as pricing seems more fair. I also was able to experience their honesty when having to have teeth pulled. My dog has stayed with them in their kennel and it was a great experience. My only complaint is they don’t do weekends anymore.“

“My 12 and 1/2 year old German Shepherd was having issues with arthritis in her hind legs. Following an exam of the entire dog and discussion with me, Hunter Mill’s doctor gave my shepherd an injection of Librela that seems to have given my dog new life and energy. Her arthritis issues are greatly reduced. We highly recommend this veterinary clinic and Librela. My 12 1/2 year old dog can now play and enjoy life better than last week prior to the injection. I’m told that the positive effects should last for about 30 days. We will be back next month for another injection.“

“Had my 13 cat Mollie at the Hope clinic for ultrasound evaluation today. Unfortunately, they found through ultrasound Mollie has cancer and is terminal. Dr Sholes took care of her and she was outstanding. She was very kind and compassionate handling this delicate situation. The staff was excellent showing kindness and empathy for my difficult situation. If your animal needs emergency care this is the best clinic in the area as far as I am concerned. “This office is the absolute best, I’ve had multiple great experiences with them. Most recently with Katherine Newland, DVM, i brought my dog in with a limp - something ive seen other vets for in the past, and she gave the most thorough exam and talked us through our options also with a lot of detail. I never felt rushed and never felt pressured into expensive procedures. Would highly recommend this office and especially dr Newland!“

“Took in my spicy cat today and they were FABULOUS with him! They gave me meds to calm him and he was way more chill than I’ve ever seen him, so it wasn’t the worst vet experience he’s ever had. They are genuinely a great team and I wouldn’t consider taking my cats anywhere else in town.“

“As a nurse, I was very pleased with the care given to my “boys”. I had my two cats neutered here, and I felt like they really took great care of them. They went above and beyond to make sure that their procedures went as smoothly as possible. Dr Jones himself was down on the floor with her while he did the examination, and let her hide under a chair while he checked her eyes and ears. They do not push any treatment but make sure you understand the options available. I've been going to Great Falls now over 10 years now and they have helped me get through some very rough times with my pets. “Our dog is very vet reactive and our behaviorist recommended that we move to this practice a few years ago. What a fantastic recommendation that's been, because this place is incredible.

Everything at this practice is set up with the animals' comfort in mind. There's no waiting room, and only one pet is allowed in the lobby at a time. Treatments are done in the room with you whenever possible, and the rooms themselves are stocked with treats, toys, and soft bedding.

Vet offices usually see the worst of our older dog, but everyone at this practice has been incredibly kind, patient, and creative when treating him, and they are always happy to see us.

The doctors are wonderful of course, but I especially want to highlight the nurses and front desk staff. Every nurse we've worked with has been willing to work with my wacky distraction ideas during injections, done gymnastics to give vaccines to a thrashing dog, and been thoughtful and practical about which vitals are realistic to do. During exams, they're always ready with treats and pets to help anxious pets feel a little calmer.

And the admin team are so on the ball - they have detailed notes on your animal's specific needs, and I have never needed to remind them that we need a sedated exam or extra time for shots. They're pros at scheduling, and quick to put in prescription renewals. And they let us keep a card on file to minimize time in the office. This is probably the only front desk I _enjoy_ calling.
