“Today we laid to rest the matriarch of our family. Viola Virginia Eskins. My family drove three hours for the service and we decided to bring our dogs with the intention of leaving them in the back of our truck(we didn’t want to leave them at home alone for so many hours and also didn’t want to be rushed to head back home) when we got there the Woodlawn staff went above and beyond and not only accommodated our human family but my fur babies too. They provided a safe shady spot for my dogs, cleaned their crates(they got sick on the ride) and gave them attention and water all while we were morning our grandma. I cannot say enough how thankful I am for the staff at Woodlawn. They are so amazing.“
