Last month I called My Plumbing Heroes to help me replaces a tub spout that proved troublesome to replace on my own. George Matthews came to the rescue! He helped me fix the issue that prevented us from completing the work, changed out the spout, and left us in great shape! He was great! I will be having George out to do some proactive work for us in the Fall.
From start to finish, American Group Construction, INC was excellent. The CEO, Isai Fonseca inspected our roof, took pictures, discussed our needs without pressure. He explained the process and was available to work with our HOA if necessary. His crew who fixed our chimney and his crew to put in a new roof were all extremely professional and did an excellent job of cleanup as well. Highly recommend Dad’s Plumbing! We had an emergency main drain issue over the weekend, and Mike was fantastic from start to finish. He was quickly responsive, communicated clearly throughout the process, thoroughly explained the problem and our options, and did an excellent job completing the work. He was professional, thorough, and left everything clean when he was finished.

Nate, Fernando, and Wyatt did a great job replacing the main water line for our townhome. The quote for the work was competitive and their plan was clearly explained. The work was completed with no damage to the lawn. They cleaned up when done. Walking by the property one would not know that our water line was replace. Andrew is an outstanding trainer!
He was first recommended to me by a friend whose dog had been successfully trained by Andrew. The positive changes in my friend’s dog’s behavior were so significant and obvious I decided to have my male black lab Doctor go through Andrew’s board & train program too.
My black lab was two years-old at the time, friendly, happy and headstrong, as well as totally unaware of his 95-lb strength. After Doctor completed the board & train program, he was a solid citizen—he knew all the basic commands like sit, down, stay, heel, place, come, leave it and drop it, but more importantly Doctor was just so much easier to live with and more enjoyable to take along on outings.
Even though Andrew was strict with him during training, Doctor loved Andrew, so when a year later I needed to go on an extended trip out of the country for two weeks, I boarded Doctor with him. I felt comfortable leaving the country knowing that Andrew would take excellent care of him in my absence.
Two years later, I recently again took Doctor back to Andrew for a few days of remedial leash training, with very positive results. Over the previous two years, I’d gotten a little inconsistent and lax in not always holding Doctor to Andrew’s high behavioral training standards, which is why the refresher training was needed.
My goal now is to get Doctor certified as a therapy dog, so that I can take him to visits patients at local hospitals. He’s such a friendly and gentle dog, and I know patients will absolutely love him. If it weren’t for the positive behaviors Doctor has learned from Andrew, though, becoming a therapy dog would not even be a realistic goal.

Atlas LC — Rob and his team are phenomenal and got us up and running within a day - I had a new AC unit and Furnace installed! He kept his word (I even called on the 4th of July - obnoxiously to say the least bc it was during an extreme heat wave and we were SO HOT)!!! But Rob and his team got my AC and Furnace ordered and was here the next day for the installation. Another benefit is that when you call Atlas LC, you talk to an actual person - so many of these Corporate AC Companies have AI answering services - NOT Atlas LC… You will most likely speak to Rob and he WILL take care of you and your family!! Don’t be alarmed if you call and get a text msg response - it’s bc he’s on a call helping another family. And he will get right back to you (again he is not a large corporate company). Atlas LC is a small, local Northern VA company that takes pride in their work and ensuring their clients are happy… Im all for supporting local, small businesses who value and appreciate their customers, along with taking pride in the work they do!!!
