My husband had a tick bite on 7/1 and we removed it at home. Unfortunately we couldn’t get all of it out, so morning of 7/3, area was red and inflamed. We went to MD Express (walk-in). They were so friendly and welcoming, from the front desk staff to the assistants in the back! And Dr. Porter (I hope I got his name right) was excellent! He was knowledgeable and proficient, explaining the plan in advance and then removing the remaining tick pieces! He explained the follow-up care to include site care and oral antibiotics. The aftercare instructions were then given to us by Aretha, who was also very, very helpful! Would highly recommend this facility!
I came in a little over an hour before closing with severe neck pain and i was taken care of fairly quickly! Dr. Arnold was so kind and attentive and made me laugh. The nurses that took my vitals and did my x ray were also very kind. I was a bit worried because of the negative reviews, but I personally had a great experience.
