“Been bringing my pups here since 2010. Dr Sullivan, Cassie and Joyce have always treated GoGo (rip) and Biscuit with so much gentleness and care. They are a hometown vet, and reasonably priced. Worth the drive from WV.

It is a house, a calm small office, where they do their best to minimize potential chaos so sometimes you have to wait in your car until the previous client comes out, or shift your seat to give everyone space (especially the animals) since going to the vet is stressful , I appreciate being seen one at a time.

When my GoGo was starting to decline in her age and poor health and I talked to Dr Sullivan about the “what ifs” she spoke with me in a gentle, knowledgeable way (her way) about options and some possible outcomes: re end of life. I appreciated this tough, practical yet kind conversation , it prepared me for the time ahead.

Even now, years later, the women who work there, talk about my baby girl, GoGo, they remember her. That means the world to me.

“Just a wonderful animal hospital. Meadow Branch Animal Hospital offered a laparoscopic spay for my doberman puppy. So much better than a traditional spay. The recovery time for my puppy was cut from the normal 10 days down to 2. My puppy was up and running in no time. No large incisions to monitor or clean up. So much less stressful for both me and my puppy. I would highly recommend a laparoscopic spay or neuter especially if you have a highly energetic puppy. Thanks for the great service!“

“This place is phenomenal. The night before Thanksgiving, our family boxer started having seizures. We called our vets office that our family has been using for over 20 years. They told us to come there. When we got there they said they wasn’t an emergency vet and couldn’t see us. My mother in law called the animal clinic in Stephen’s City. They told us to come straight there. Dr. Welch, his assistant and the front office people stayed there for over an hour after closing time to help us. They was straight forward, respectful, compassionate and made us feel very welcome. We had never been there before. This vets office deserves more credit than we can give them. You don’t see any place do that anymore nor be that compassionate. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us!!! I highly recommend them and will be using them from here on out!“

There is something most people don't know about rabies vaccine is that it's one dose fits all sizes. They don't dose it based on the weight of the animal. A large dog like a Rottweiler it's the same dose as a little tiny Chihuahua. In 2022 I lost a dog due to a rabies vaccine from a different Box Store Veterinary service and when I did a Google search saying rabies vaccine killed my dog, I found reports in Canada and all across the United States from that same box store and I can tell you it's not Petco. It's their Nationwide rival.
I live in a small community in the Winchester Virginia area and my neighbor told me that her cat got a rabies vaccine from the same place that my little Zeus got a vaccine and her cat died from the vaccine just a couple of months earlier.“
