It was a good experience. They were clear about what she needed and why and what it would cost before they did it. I just think they forgot us in particular somehow for like 2 hours. But after I brought this to their attention it was quickly resolved.
Everyone was pleasant, from the receptionists to the vet techs to the vet. The doctor explained things well and was careful not to run up costs. I know they were extremely busy but didn’t treat me like a number.
It's an emergency room. If your animal isnt dying, and someone else's is, you're going to wait. That's just how it is.
My dog's splint fell off within 12 hours, he was crated and immobile, carried outside to use the bathroom, cone on the whole time. Not sure if that's common or if it wasnt placed well enough.
The only thing I can truly criticize is that the bill was over double what they quote me. Estimated around $700 and the bill was $1,300. Still, the services were appreciated and staff seemed to care about the animals. They took good care of my dog from what I could tell.
