Families have expressed gratitude for the compassionate care and smooth discharge planning provided by the staff.
Took care of my father while my mother and I had to attend a family funeral. Nurse Dorthy of night shift was helpful, and my father was taken good care of by the admitting nurse, and any CNAs he interacted with. Staff were patient with last minute changes, and were extremely understanding, and polite. I had no issues understanding directions, and felt my father was assisted well.
My son came here 2 years ago. I have seen many staff personnel changes, along with facility directors. Things have been improved on with every change. The entire staff is doing and excellent job caring for my son. The Director Jeff Shrewsbury really cares for all the patients as well as family members. The Nurses and CNA'S are fantastic. The maintenance staff do an great job keeping everything running smoothly, they are on top of repairs when things go wrong. All in all I totally recommend Guggenheimer for all your needs.

Almost a week ago I left a 1 star review and since then we have had a meeting with Administrator, DON, and the Head Nurse of the Unit and yes it took some demands and some hell fire to get the meeting but we got it and we were able to discuss the incident that caused the uproar as well as many other concerns.. Things were switched around for our mother to make her room safer and more appropriate for her as well as the Admin explaining some other things he would like to change and improve on and things things will not only benefit our mother but all of the residents.
