I had a family member that recently needed the services of Forest Health and Rehab (twice) and I was pleased with the attention she received. They responded quickly to insurance issues and always returned my calls and answered my questions. I appreciate the genuine care they showed while my family member was there. Forest rehab and rehabilitation facility provided excellent care to patient. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They have a computer system that tells the nurses when to administer drugs for patients. There therapy staff is well trained as shown by progress to be able to leave the facility. The food was always well prepared and warm when it was delivered. The rooms were spacious and very clean. They had wheelchairs to take patients outside if they wanted to. We had other relatives that stayed in five other places in the area and the support. There was very bad you wouldn’t want to be there yourself which is a big contrast.
A few days ago I had to make the choice of what rehab facility would be best for my mom to go into following her surgery at LGH. After working in the healthcare field for 26 years, I’ve seen and heard many horror stories in most rehab/nursing homes in our area, which made me very anxious when deciding on the right one for my mom. After a lot of researching and asking around for recommendations, I chose Forest Health and Rehab. I definitely made the right decision!! I have been amazed at the care, concern, and compassion of the staff at this facility!! Every individual who works there has been so kind and considerate of what my mom’s needs are, and are truly genuine people who absolutely care about their patient’s health and wellbeing. Yvonne in admissions is amazing at her job, and her personality matches her beautiful smile. She went the extra mile to help my mom get into the facility, and I’m so happy she did!!
