Jean is more than just a great massage therapist -- she has great insight into the emotional underpinnings of what causes discomfort in the body. Without being invasive, she was able to get to the root of some long-standing issues in my body and mind.

Jean Franko, at "A Matter of Touch Holistic Bodywork", is amazing! She is extremely knowledgable in the field of massage and is very personable. Unlike other massage therapists I've seen, she gets to know you as a person, and quickly identifies your "problem areas". She's also flexible when it comes to changing appointment times. I've seen a variety of massage therapists since getting a work related injury back in 2007, and I can personally attest to her skills and techniques. Hands down, she's probably one of the best massage therapists I've ever had! I would not hesitate in recommending her to my friends and family in the Lynchburg and surrounding area!

I was new to Lynchburg, looking for someone who could understand the medical aspects of my hip injury and help relieve my pain. Jean offered great relief, and I have now been coming here for almost 10 years for maintenance, stress-relief and overall well-being. Jean can really find those painful spots in the body and get them to release. I always feel so relaxed after my session.
