I don't remember her name, but I came as a walk-in at the exact right moment when she was open. I had to catch a plane that day, in 2 hours. I explained why my previous cuts were not great, and she said "Oh I see, you have some funny cowlicks and waves. So then we'll cut it dry." Never had a dry haircut. But when I got back to LA, I got nothing but compliments on "the best haircut you ever had" from TONS of people. In fact, now, in Late March 2024 (My cut was in September 2023) I am STILL getting at least one comment a week on how great this haircut looks on me (I have not touched it since she cut it). She's an artist who knows what she's doing. Trust her.

Shawn is a great stylist. I went to get a wash and blow dry over the weekend for my nephew’s birthday and she did a great job. She sent a reminder text the day before the appointment. At the appointment, she asked me if I wanted it straight or with curls before we started so she knew exactly what I had in mind. She even made sure I was okay with the scent of the products that were going to be used in my hair. I really liked how before she used any product, she told me what she was using as well. Shawn is not a regular hairdresser. She listen to what you want and is extremely talented. Her studio is so calming, with the beautiful décor and calming music. Shawn makes you feel like family the moment you walk in. My hair was in shambles when I first met her and 6 months later it is on the way to being the healthiest it has been in years. You won't be disappointed, I promise you.
