I am not an audiophile, collector or whatever the proper name might be. But you really don't have to be to recognize that this place is different. Not just a few vinyls, CDs and tapes. - lots...and lots. Took my teenaged daughter. Friendly welcome, items packed into the apparent space. She looks through CDs a bit then is ready to leave. At the door, prompted by staff's question I ask 'These are all the CDs here?'
Oh. No.

I actually found the MJ Thriller album I was looking for. If the vinyl was a diamond it would have been rated SI1 ( slightly imperfect level 1) so it was appropriately priced at $25. Another place 8 miles away had it for $70. But that one had a diamond standard of VS2. ( Very Slightly Imperfect level 2). That was appropriately oriced also. Virginia Memory Lane is a no frills place tucked in an industrial neighborhood. It is a throwback in time with records, cd,s and vintage stereo equipment.
