Best barber experience I’ve ever had—Emmanuel provides not only a haircut/shave, but also a thoughtful and meaningful conversation while in his chair. No longer living in the area, I travel over an hour and a half just to get my hair cut at Edify. Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Give them a shot, you won’t regret it.

Excellent service. Very professional barbers with a great personality. Easy access and no long wait time. I live in Short Pump and it’s good to have a professional barbershop in the area. They really take their time and are truly service oriented.

Edify is such a hidden gem that I almost hate to post this (because then it will be mobbed), but I know it will help the endearing and engaging owner. This is the go-to place for my two teenage sons to get a great haircut in Short Pump, and they always enjoy a good conversation too. Emmanuel Gayot is the highly skilled owner, who not only excels at barbering but also at entrepreneurship and teaching high school students the art and science of barbering. Jack's preferred style is "Iceman" hair (think Val Kilmer in Top Gun), and Emmanuel pulls that one off beautifully. Will likes the popular fluffy bangs with salt spray, and he can count on Emmanuel to get that right too....read full review
