“Edify is such a hidden gem that I almost hate to post this (because then it will be mobbed), but I know it will help the endearing and engaging owner. This is the go-to place for my two teenage sons to get a great haircut in Short Pump, and they always enjoy a good conversation too. Emmanuel Gayot is the highly skilled owner, who not only excels at barbering but also at entrepreneurship and teaching high school students the art and science of barbering. Jack's preferred style is "Iceman" hair (think Val Kilmer in Top Gun), and Emmanuel pulls that one off beautifully. Will likes the popular fluffy bangs with salt spray, and he can count on Emmanuel to get that right too. Edify is the only place these boys will go now. Emmanuel can talk sports, the arts, cars, etc. He is GREAT with teens. He also employs other barbers, and occasionally, I see an apprentice shadowing Emmanuel. My boys have given Ashley, also a barber, a big thumb's up. Overall, the establishment is attractive and clean. The couches make for a comfortable waiting area, and I have enjoyed chatting with Emmanuel's other clients. It feels like a casual, family environment when you are there, and sometimes the whole room will be participating in a conversation. I highly recommend Edify.“

“Laguna beauty salon has by far been the best place to go to whenever in need of hair styling or tips on properly putting on make up. The two sisters Lily and Nancy make me feel so welcomed and go above and beyond to meet my needs. Would definitely recommend this hair salon to my friends and prices are very affordable.
