“This is a review of Bass Roofing for their work replacing a 30 + year old roof of my residence. The owner and his right-hand man did an excellent job of explaining the work to be done. They frequently communicated with me to provide info and answer my questions before the contract was signed and to advise me of progress and expected completion time after work started.

The estimate was clear and detailed. The price was very reasonable and quality of work and materials was very high.

There are so many good things to say about Bass Roofing I could write a book. I’ll try to summarize a few things as follows:
• High quality materials (i.e. plywood sheathing vs. OSB; modern synthetic underlayment vs. tar paper & high rated brand of shingles & ridge vent)
• I was very pleased with the workers expertise in completing the necessary wood repairs before installing the shingles and the finishing touches on all the things protruding through the roof (drain vents & chimneys).
• The workers are the hardest working and most respectful group I’ve had the good fortune to deal with. They helped me move some plants and chairs off my deck before work began and helped move them back again when work was done. Also, they thoroughly combed the grounds with magnets to pick up nails and cleaned up all debris after they finished the roof.
• The new roof looks flawless (no lumps or unevenness). After 2 severe thunderstorms, I can say with confidence that it is also wind and water tight.
• No shortcuts were taken and work (reroof house, shed and remove gutters) was completed expeditiously in 1.5 days.

I needed to have my entire house painted (exterior) Randy and his team repaired wood, then prepped my large, historic home for painting - power washing, scraping, sanding. The painting that followed was done carefully, and there was great attention to detail. All surfaces were primed, then two top coats of the final color. The painters were here nearly 10 hours, every day for a month....it was well worth the wait. For being 116 years old, it looks like a brand new house! I knew this project was not going to be cheap, but I do feel that it was a reasonable price for the amount and type of work that had to be done.
