“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️I have suffered from dizziness, off balance sensations and extreme sensitivity to light with additional anxiety. In recent years it has gotten worse, until I came to Virginia Vision Therapy Center. After a thorough examination with Dr. Johnson, I was diagnosed with Convergence Insufficiency. I received vision therapy as well as syntonic phototherapy. Syntonics has helped with my sensitivity to bright lights so much that I can handle going outside without sunglasses and go into stores with bright fluorescent lights without having a mini panic attack. In addition, syntonics has lowered my anxiety. The vision therapists are wonderful! I was placed with Sameriah for most of my sessions and she truly cares about her patients and is very knowledgeable. If you are desperate for help, Dr. Johnson is the doctor for you. Besides being passionate about his field, He is genuinely interested in helping his patients overcome their problems.“

She truly cares for all of her patients and goes above and beyond. She has the latest technology to ensure optimum eye health, and she is beyond patient and wonderful with children. Dr. Grossett has assisted us after hours in an emergency and you can tell her entire staff truly cares and is devoted to the patient experience. We have been her patients for 25 years and don’t think there’s a doctor that can top her.“

“Needed a vision test per the DMV. They got me in the same day, and took care of the DMV paperwork. Great location in downtown with parking available. Clean, organized building with good HVAC. The waiting room is the frame shop! Fantastic staff, the receptionist was friendly, informative and helpful. Instead of all the new patient paperwork a tablet was provided and made things very easy. I’m generally never comfortable in any type of Dr’s office, the anxiety takes over quickly. The nurse was awesome, very friendly, and laid back I felt very comfortable fast. The doctor was also extremely friendly, very informative, and professional. Not that I honestly have a clue, but the eye machinery all seemed current and was extremely clean. After seeing the doctor, several frame options were available with the assistance of more friendly and informative staff members. The frames available were of great quality but a bit over my budget, I’m always cheap. No worries though, they provide you with all the information needed to obtain your glasses anywhere of your choosing.I’m not a fan of downtown either, but the location worked for me with all the parking available.I only had an eye exam but my experience was great and will definitely be returning for all future exams and other services needed. 5/5!“

“Cannot recommend enough. Dr. Madison is absolutely AMAZING! She is very thorough and is great with children! My 6 year old has terrible medical anxiety and Dr. Madison is so patient and kind with her. She never seems frustrated or irritated that my daughter needs extra time to acclimate and settle down. She feels like we are visiting a friend that's just helping us out with our eye care needs. We have also seen Dr. Fiegl in the past and he was great as well. Very kind and patient and doesnt rush the appointment when my little ones have been less than cooperative. We have been going here for years and have had a positive experience every time. From calling to make an appointment, to the front desk check-in, the visit itself, and getting our new glasses if we need them, everything is so personable. We are not local and will 100% continue to come to this location as long as this amazing group is there!“
