“I have come to Family and sports chiropractic for years at this point and I have experienced an incredible amount of pain relief and a drastic improvement in my flexibility and movement since coming. I suffered a head / neck injury in high school and went to several chiropractors at the time, but they were just an adjustment appointment, and pain would quickly return. I ended up just dealing with the pain through pain killers and stretching from time to time. The pain was a constant stiffness in my neck. I found Dr. Wetzen later about 8 years out of high school, after suffering another back injury after squatting. I seriously needed some help, as this added a very intense stabbing sensation through my lower back that would flare up from different motions. Dr. Wetzen prescribed a regimen that was three days a week for about 6 months; during which I saw a great improvement in my lower back pain from the additional time with the traction machines. After that first six months, I made a bad decision and stopped coming for a few years because I thought just because the pain had gone I would be fine. I was about 25 at the time. I returned two years ago, at 32, after causing the same back injury later, and, though I knew I had fixed some subluxations in the previous treatment, more had come back which Dr Wetzen could show in the x rays he takes with each treatment. I was determined to get into a better posture and to do the maintenance period this second time, and I can see the results in how I stand, sit, walk and perform stretches. I can really see my posture improving and having the strength to hold correct positions longer and a heightened awareness to correct positions when I am compensating. I've really enjoyed my interactions with Dr. Wetzen and his staff during both treatment periods as well. they are incredibly flexible with scheduling, and friendly and informative to new patients. I'd recommend this chiropractor to anyone, and I currently drive just about an hour each way to get to his falls church facility because there's no one I trust more with my spine.“

I was able to see him within 24 hours of making my request as a new patient and he is kind, warm, knowledgeable, patient, professional and fantastic! I have never been to a chiropractor for fear of the snaps and the cracks; however, he explained what he was going to do and how it would help. After months of a pinched nerve, each visit has relieved my discomfort and it's increased my mobility and decreased my pain!
