“After a really bad experience at a different PT location last year where I actually left in worse shape than when I started, I was honestly afraid to ever try physical therapy again. Because of that, I took my time calling around and specifically looked for a location that had experience working with patients who are post-op from major back surgery and scoliosis.

Choosing this Inova location was absolutely the right decision. The difference has been night and day.

From the moment I walked in, the front desk team has always been welcoming and kind. That first impression really set the tone before I even met my therapists.

I attend sessions twice a week, primarily working with Lisa and occasionally with Debbie, and both of them have been wonderful.

Lisa is attentive, kind, and genuinely caring. She actually listens to what I’m saying and pays attention to how I’m responding during exercises. Even when I try to push through something, she notices right away if it’s becoming too much and adjusts the session so I don’t overdo it.

Debbie has the same level of care, but in a slightly more “stern but supportive” way that I respond to well. Especially when I haven’t been following instructions like using my walker. I can tell she truly cares and wants what’s best for my recovery.

Recovery after surgery like this isn’t fast or easy, but having a team that genuinely cares and is focused on helping me heal safely makes a huge difference. I actually look forward to my PT sessions now, even knowing the work can be tough.

I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone, especially people recovering from surgery or dealing with complex spine issues.“
