“I'm so happy I found this animal care. I love Dr. Belk, who took such wonderful care of my 10 year old dog's eyes. He can see again. I drove almost 1:35 hours each way and it was well worth it. The price is more reasonable then in the Woodbridge area. My dog Corkie can run after geese again, not that he has a chance to catch them being a small dog! After surgery I was supplied with all the meds, collar and whatever I needed included in the surgery price. There are no add ons!!!“

“Recently made the switch from Woodside to Virginia Equine after using Woodside for 10 years… I was very anxious to do so, but should have made the switch much sooner! “Dr. Rice, and her entire crew are simply amazing. I am the proud owner of Niblet, an African crested porcupine. Unfortunately Niblet had an eye infection that needed immediate attention. Numerous calls to exotic vets in my home state of NC, and no success getting her seen in a resonable amout of time. The exotic vet in Raleigh did not want to see her at all. They referred me to NC State University . Finally State gave me an appointment a week out, then the next day called and postponed the appointment for another week, ( not acceptable at all). I immediately Googled exotic vets within 100 miles. 4 popped up. Oasis was the first one I contacted. I explained Niblets condition, within a moment they scheduled an appointment with Dr Rice. On the day of the appointment, Niblet and I began the almost 2 hour drive to Oasis. When we arrived we were kindly greeted by the 2 front desk ladies. I explained that I needed help bringing Niblet inside. Within a moment there were 3 amazing staff members helping with Niblet. After settling into room number 2, Dr Rice and her assistant entered with big smiles and a wonderful concern for the well-being of my beloved Niblet. The exam was extensive and preformed with the utmost professionalism. Medication was prescribed and details were explained properly. After a few pictures and treats, Niblet was ready for the ride home. By far this was the best vet experience I could ever imagine. Dr Rice and her crew are extremely knowledgeable and caring, #best vet ever. Dr Rice and her crew have earned my respect and my future patronage for as long as possible. “Love & trust this vet! Have been going here with my pups since 1998. They have always gone above and beyond to make sure each of our doggies has received the best care possible. They have been compassionate with our geriatric dogs and empathetic and understanding that they are helping family members not just animals. That laugh at the silliness of our puppies, just as we do! Dr. Atkins is hilarious, knowledgeable and kind. Was bummed when a new Vet walked in one day… but it is extremely clear Dr. Hayes holds the same values. She’s a lovely human! Love her! “I would give 10 stars if I could. We have taken our labradoodle to these wonderful people for 14 years. He was so loved and cared for by everyone from the front desk, the groomers (LOVE Gayla!!!), the Vet Techs (esp Hillary and Lydia) and the vets (esp Dr. White and Dr Willis)!! They are all so patient and take the time to listen and offer their expertise with compassion. Their Jobs are not easy a lot of days and often they are met with emotional pet family members who take out their fears and frustrations on them. I have witnessed how much they care very much for each animal that comes through the door and strive to give the very best care they can. I would highly recommend them!!!“
