Of all of the electrical supply houses around the Roanoke area, I have always favored state electric. ( for no reason other then just the vibe I personally get there.) I'm not saying it is better than any other by no means. I have always had great customer service here and even if they don't have something in stock, assuming you don't need it on the spot, they will get it for you. They are awesome in the Covington office and they was phenomenal at the wv location had to take my older dog after hours she had serious injuries was in bad shape they met me at the office and kept me updated over the weekend while she had to stay they they saved her life they will now be my permanent vet???? ????????
I did not know Jay or anything about him. I took some 14k jewelry to him on three visits. He was friendly, professional and very honest. I was happy with what he paid me for my items. The Barrs are fantastic hosts and so accommodating. The property and fishing are fantastic. Even being the last day of the season, we caught several trout. Such an enjoyable experience. We will return for sure!
I bought an old home with no heat and air. I got three bids and Alleghany was the one I chose based on cost and the discussion that I had with Steve. I was not disappointed. They installed a gas heat system and AC unit and had to run all new ducts in September of 2022. The install was exceptionally neat and when they were done they even swept my entire basement and removed a light coat of dirt that was there before they did the install. The guys were professional and pleasant to deal with. I would highly recommend them. I will be using them again to install a heat and air system for the upstairs.Services: Heating system installation

My family member’s A/C wouldn’t turn on the first time they went to use it after winter. Not living in the area, I called everywhere I could find on Google to get it checked same day. Chuck White was the most responsive and friendly. He managed to work them in the same day. My family member said that the gentleman was very kind and was in and out in no time with A/C fixed.
