Escatawba Farms Fly Fishing offers a fantastic and enjoyable experience on a beautiful property. The setting is stunning and dreamlike, with a wonderful stream and stunning views that provide a calming and peaceful feeling. The fishery maintains a nice healthy population of rainbow, brown, tiger, and brook trout, and the fishing is consistently amazing, awesome, and great. Guests report catching several trout, including trophy fish, even at the end of the season. The operation is first class and finely sculpted, considered the very best fly fishing destination.
The hosts are fantastic, great, and the nicest, most hospitable, and most accommodating people. Service is top notch, and guests always feel welcomed like an old friend, considering the hosts to be truly great people and friends. The overall experience is highly recommended, always a five-star day and a pleasure. It is a wonderful place that guests plan to return to regularly, drawn by both the excellent fishing and the exceptional people.
Had an awesome time yesterday visiting Escatawba. Absolutely beautiful property, and Derek was incredibly welcoming and kind. The water is loaded with trout and there are plenty of chances to keep a line tight all day long. Definitely looking forward to coming back again soon.
Escatawba is wonderful. The fishing is consistently very good. The fish are big, and there are a lot more fish than you will ever see on a public stream. The ownership team is outstanding. They have constantly made improvements to the experience, and the property. The Farm is more of a wildlife preserve with a robust riparian buffer around the creek and immaculately manicured grounds. Contrary to review from a few weeks ago, the property has never allowed any one to take fish home, that information is completely false. I cannot recommend Escatawba enough. If you are just starting out it can be a technical stream to fish, but you will learn and become a better angler.… read full review
Beautiful setting with a nice healthy population of rainbow, brown, tiger and brook trout. Caught two trophy 26”+ fish on return trips through the years. Derek is a great host and one of my favorite places to fly fish in the world!
