Amanda at CenterWell Home Health has gone way above and beyond to help my son. My son has been experiencing post viral auto-immune disorder symptoms and his neurologist sent CenterWell a prescription/referral for physical therapy. Unfortunately, my insurance would not pay for home health services but Amanda has been assisting us for weeks to find someone reputable, who takes our insurance, and is located close to Va Tech so my son can take a bus to the appointments. She is doing all of this despite the fact that she will receive no compensation and is not liable for his care. I am very appreciative of her caring generosity and I want others to know. Even though this agency has been under several different owners since 2014, the therapists have always been superb!! When I broke my arm in 20114, I had decided to never use a home health agency again due to some very negative experiences. But then a representative from Gentiva, Thomas, came to my hospital room and convinced me that Gentiva was an excellent agency with well trained professional therapists. My experience proved that Thomas was right and this agency, be it known as Gentiva, Kindred, or CenterWell, will provide the very services one needs to return to good health. I highly recommend the therapists at CenterWell.
