“It was a very fast and informative experience. There was practically no wait to be seen or for x-rays. I felt that when I voiced my concerns I was heard and explained everything in a professional manner.“

“My son came home sick from school and soon after the entire house was sick. I took myself, my 7yr old daughter, my 3yr old son, and my 4month old daughter to patient first. We were greeted upon entrance with a smile, and even called to regstration before I could even finished registering me and all my children but before just skipping to the next person she waited as I was only finishing up my last child. We were called back rather quickly and greeted by 4 members of the staff to get everyone's vitals, height and wright as well as swabbed so it only took 5min for us to be waiting in our room. The physician came i. To talk to us about the wait time for the swabs to came back. The experience was truly phenomenal beside us being sick. They sent our prescriptions to our recommended pharmacy, gave us school/work notes and we were only there for all of 40min. I would recommend this location on battlefield in chesapeake to anyone on any day.

“Absolute life savers! Came in late last night for my 5 yr old son. He tripped on the playground and needed stitches above his eye. We started off at CHKD ER where the wait was over two hours and no one even spared my son a freaking piece of gauze to help with the blood, let alone even looked up at him. After waiting an hour with no follow up and nearly emptying the tissue box at the registration desk because of the bleeding I was at my limit, my son had now had his injury unchecked for nearly two hours and I took a gamble on the urgent care here. Immediately when we walked in the door the woman at the front desk was concerned and ready to help. We came in 20 minutes before closing - it would have been too easy to be frustrated with us for coming in so late with such an injury but not a single soul here showed anything but compassion and understanding. Before my husband's butt could hit the seat to fill out the paperwork, they were already calling us back.
The ladies who took care of my son were genuinely concerned and extremely helpful. He ended up needing five stitches and today his wound looks so much better already. The stitching looks great - the aftercare instructions were clear and concise.
Walking into a team like the one here is extremely rare today and my husband and I couldn't be more grateful for everything. Truly wonderful ❤️“
