I’m not over-exaggerating when I say Fredrick Ayers is a godsend. After a box dye-related hair accident, I found myself scrambling to find someone to save my hair so I could show my face in public again. In came Fredrick to the rescue. I was not just struck by the amazing customer service during my appointment but before my appointment when Fredrick messaged me to ask about what needed to be done. On the day of the appointment, I arrived to find a girl profusely thanking Fredrick for saving her hair - I knew I had come to the right place. Upon seeing me, Fredrick immediately understood the brief. As a brown woman, I am always hesitant to go to hairdressers as I feel like they do not understand how to work with the texture of my hair or understand what matches my skin tone. But Fredrick got it, he set about working his magic by mixing the perfect combination to match my skin tone. He was careful to only apply the best products that suited my hair type. When he washed the dye out of my hair I was FLOORED even though I had opted for single processing, it somehow looked like I had gotten balayage done on my hair. This affirmed my faith that this guy is a true hair magician! I want to add not only is he great with hair he’s also a lovely person. Time flew by whilst I was getting my hair done in conversation with him. His salon is very quaint and it really feels like you are getting the most personalized luxury experience. After washing out the hair dye, he gave me the most beautiful blow-dry! I am unashamed to say I might have prolonged its effects by not showering for a few days LOL! Overall I had a 10/10 experience. If there were more stars available, I would give them to him!
I have never met a stylist who listens so carefully to what their client wants and then delivers exactly what was discussed. From the initial consultation to the final styling, Frederick is supportive, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. His years of experience are evident in every step of the process, from the precision of his cuts to the way he delicately worked with my hair. Frederick truly has a gift for styling and a talent that is unparalleled. I always leave his salon feeling like a new person, with hair that looks and feel amazing.
