He had it fixed, replaced a board and it was back running smoothly in a few days. After a week or so, it seemed to have a relapse and I took it back, Shah was happy to take a look. Turns out it was just a needed windows update. Like a lot of other businesses, he could have taken advantage of a no-nothing dinosaur like me, but he did not.
