I have been going to Mary's 1x a month since when we first moved here in 2014 for a haircut and dye. It's a classic, homey and friendly old time barber shop that is reasonably priced and popular with all ages. Saturday mornings are especially busy.

In sum: Highly dependable, consistently high quality barber shop. I have used Mary's Barber Shop consistently over the past five years since moving to the National Capital Region. While I lived in Arlington, they were my main go-to about once or twice a month for my haircuts. Since moving to Annandale, I have less opportunity to pop-in easily, but they are still my favorite barber shop in the area. I will dedicated some time on a Sunday afternoon to head there for my haircut. The shop generally charges ~$21 for a hair cut (added fees for credit card use) plus tip. Unfortunately, I am just passing through for a few days or I would make Mary's my regular place. The facilities aren't slick but there's an old time genuine feel and the ladies are nice. Mai did a great job and I was especially happy with the attention to individual detail that I think lacks in a lot of places. The head/neck massage and hot towel at the end are great touches! At $22 the price was right, the result was great and the service likewise!

Not accepting appointment for Saturday and Sunday. Walk in welcome (Only, First-Come-First-Serve basis) Men & Women & Children hair cut at a most reasonable cost where service is most important.
