Teacher has multiple decades of experience, and the advanced ranks in the school warmly welcome beginners, who get direct personalized instruction. Classes start with stretching and mobility drills, cover basic and advanced techniques, and the students' skills and challenges grow appropriately over time. You'll probably learn something new every single class and improve mobility, flexibility, and conditioning along the way. Style is "traditional" aikido (Iwama) and includes weapons instruction. Approximately equal blend of men and women. Chill and low ego. Extremely welcoming and interesting people from all walks of life. Ridiculously reasonable fees, especially given the very high quality of instruction. Highly recommended!“
