“I can’t say enough good things! I was dealing with crazy shoulder pain, tightness, headaches, and lack of mobility. Dr. Murray did a great job figuring out the issues and really getting into muscles that were causing issues. Not going to lie, it can be pretty painful but the improvement in mobility immediately after was shocking - it’s worth it! Eric also was very helpful in demonstrating the exercises to do at home. “UPDATED FROM MY 3/2021 review: I have recently returned to Dr Ziegler's practice with a separate set of problems involving my lower back...as with previous encounters with this practice, I did not have to wait too long for an appt though it had been over 4 years. I went in, spoke with Dr Ziegler about my problems and he was very reassuring! He immediately began a program of accupuncture, stretching, heat and electrical current before sending me off for x-rays at a nearby hospital. Dr. Ziegler was very thorough in his explanation of my films when I returned and a plan of care was initiated. It has been a few weeks now and I can finally drive/sit comfortably and my walking is much improved. Staff are excellent, providing text reminders,free parking and no waiting-unheard of in most practices today. I especially value our conversations of current medical practices in the alternative medical "space" and Dr Ziegler's knowledge of supplements and nutritional aspects of health. As a nurse, I am very comfortable recommending Dr. Ziegler to my family and friends.“

“Would recommend NOVA Pain & Rehab - writing this review as an active mid-30s person with a long history of chronic issues. I've made great progress since working with the team over the last ~2 months about 10 sessions in (main complaints lower back pain and shoulder pain). The team provides a holistic scope, with my sessions consisting of electrical stim (this is optional), and a guided session through rehab/prehab movements, followed by a session with Dr. Ward for any manual work.

All that being said I have been dilligent about doing my prescribed exercises, but in a vacuum that is not enough, the targeted physical work makes a difference. Dr. Ward is very knowledgeable, I am active in CrossFit and weightlifting which means I have 'luxury fitness problems', a regular doctor would tell me to go home and rest for a month but this does not suit my lifestyle. I am on average feeling better than I have in many years (comparable to getting a 90 minute bodywork session + chiropractic every other week). If you follow the recommendations I believe you will see progress, and if you are like me and value understanding the big picture and the 'why' of exercises and treatments, the team has been excellent in answering these questions. Lastly as an honorable mention, appointments can be booked online or through text during business hours - no more playing phone tag with receptionists, yay.

“Dr Cassis is like no chiropractor I have ever met and his work is on a whole other level. “I love Dr. Liu! I have been a patient for more than 7 years and the two words that come to mind immediately about his practice are kindness and communication. Dr. Liu and his office manager, Jeanette, truly care about their patients. That sounds like a no brainer, but in today's money hungry, slick and fast world, it is not easy to come by. I have come to Dr. Liu in severe pain at times, and it was clear that he really felt bad for me and wanted to help, which he did, consistently. At those times, I have never failed to get an appointment. Once, Dr. Liu even called me well after hours when I sent an SOS email. Who does that? Jeanette is on top of emails, often responding within minutes! It's crazy because I've gone to practices that ignore emails completely!! Another thing I love is that, unlike other chiropractors I've seen in the past, Dr. Liu is never pushy about coming back frequently. He suggests sometimes, but leaves it up to me. And believe me, my back always lets me know when it's time. Once I was stuck in Miami with severe back spasms. Urgent care gave me a steroid shot and pain meds and it didn't even touch the pain. Dr. Liu recognized the issue right away and fixed it with one adjustment!! Now I'm a believer. Great doctor, great people, great practice. Just sorry to see them being ousted from Crystal City, but they are worth traveling to anywhere. Trust me.“
