I had an issue with my local Sonic Drive In. I tried to write a review on the BBB but it never was posted, even though the site said it went through. I tried to contact the local BBB office but the site said it was unavailable. I finally heard back from the main BBB office when I complained that my review was not posted and they said to contact the local office. How? So I put in a complaint about the local office. They have now closed my complaint stating that it was "inappropriate". Reeeaally. So when someone calls you out, the complaint is not valid and is inappropriate? I will never try to use BBB again. They are completely worthless.

I had 2 legit reviews rejected by BBB. Why should we even waste time writing reviews on companies when you get an email that states that your review was rejected? You can't reply to that email and they don't even mention what review it was.From now on I will completely disregard BBB on all levels. I will not visit their websites anymore for any of those useless company ratings, I will not write any more reviews, and I will no use them for any disputes either. If I have to deal with an issue with a company again, I will either cut them lose or I will sue them. No more middleman.

Poor customer focus. When filing a case against Ebay, a company which has done away with its customer service and leaves no alternatives to reach them even though they create issues which require their attention, I expected to hear back from the Better Business Bureau in reasonable time about 3 cases. Instead, the local BBB branch in Silicon Valley took 10 days to respond on just one. When the local branch doesn't respond, typically you seek help with corporate headquarters. Using the "contact email" as provided on the BBB Facebook page, on May 19 I sent an email asking if the local branch was still fully operational and what my expectation should be.
