Capital MMA & Elite Fitness in Alexandria, VA, has been a leader in mixed martial arts and CrossFit since 2001. I wrestled for a good portion of my life and since have struggled to find a comparable workout with variety and intensity. I joined Capital MMA about 8 months ago and I couldn't be happier. They have a fantastic set of coaches who are very knowledgable and are able to curtail their direction/teaching for your issues. The other members are also great, very good sense of community, and look forward to spending much more time there!
I’ve been training Royce Gracie Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since the summer of 2012. Personal reasons brought me to Capital MMA. An avid runner and conscious about a healthy lifestyle, I was seeking something else. Something functional with a continued focus on fitness. I found that and more. Capital MMA and Elite Fitness is a family. Whoever you are, you’ll find a friend here. As I continue my journey here, I continue to build on those friendships while at the same time learning more about myself. Don’t know what I would do without them.
