Jim did a great job trimming back a pine away from our house. He was reasonable and was able to fit us in to his schedule. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again the next time I need tree work done.

We had a tree that sustained severe limb damage caused by heavy spring snows. The broken limbs hung over our back retaining wall into Little Cottonwood Creek. We took bids from 4 companies including Swedin. Jim was prompt with his estimate, timely and available to perform the work prior to spring runoff and extremely competitive with respect to price. He has a long history in the Salt Lake Valley and was incredibly easy to work with. Jim is honest and does what he says he will do. He will be our first call on future tree work. We are the only private tree company in Utah that has a Horizontal Grinder that can grind a whole tree into five foot diameter cube of earth-friendly mulch. It was started by Fred Swedin, who after retiring, has handed over the company to his son, Jim.
