We used Atlas to remove a 45 foot Spruce tree that had died. They did a great job both removing the tree and grinding the stump. They were on time and cleaned up nicely when they were done. We would recommend them for any tree work.Services: Tree stump grinding

I met with the arborist, Mitch and we discussed in detail what should be done with four large trees. A silver maple, Syracuse maple, Norway maple and a Mulberry. All were overgrown and had not received proper care in several years. The crew arrived on time, and talked through their plans for the trees over the next two days. Mike and Gage got to work climbing, with ropes and other equipment to ensure safety and access to what they needed to sculpt, cut, trim, etc. They were efficient, did a great job, and when they were done for the day, they came to describe and show what they had ben able to do to make the trees more healthy and less likely to lose limbs and branches...read full review

We had a large pine tree fall during the night into the street this winter due to the heavy snow fall. The tree was blocking 3/4 of the road and need to be removed ASAP. Called Atlas at around 7:30 am and they had a team to our house an hour later to remove the tree. The team members we worked with were great!Service: Tree removal

SavATree was founded by Ralph Robbins in 1978 with a single objective in mind; to save trees from the devastating effects of repeated defoliations by the Gypsy Moth Caterpillar (Lymantria dispar). While this moth was accidentally introduced into the United States by French entomologist Leopold Trouvelot in 1868, it was not until the late 1970’s that the population exploded in the Northeast. Ralph, a graduate of Paul Smith’s college and entrepreneur at heart, saw an opportunity to make a difference in support of tree preservation and care.
