“Im going to start this with that I've worn Zala hair extensions, then moved on to bellami. I stayed with bellami for 3 years. I love their hair. I have nothing bad to say about bellami. Zala on the other hand, horrible. Had to get new hair every 2 months.
I saw on Tiktok this salon so many times on my FYP. I also saw alot of negative reviews on this hair. But it seemed affordable enough for me to just say screw it and try JZ hair. I genuinely have no idea how there are negative reviews and videos on these extensions. For reference, I am Mediterranean with curly and thick hair. I've been blow drying my hair straight for 15 years. I know exactly what works for my hair and its health. That said, Ive had these machine weft extensions for months now and it is still soft and healthy even with the heat I put on my hair after every hair wash day. I also have blonde and black extensions in. So I'm experiencing both sides of this right now. I think people are missing the point that if you have blonde extensions AND/OR you dye/bleach your hair then it's natural that it'll yellow over time and that blonde maintenance includes toning touch ups... You should also just know how thick your hair is and how many grams it needs, don't always trust your stylist with that decision. YOU are responsible with doing research and finding it out. I was unsure so I bought 6 packs. I only needed 4.5 and returned 1 pack. Or I could've saved it for next new hair purchase. Hair extensions thinning is inevitable, but it is also dependent on what YOU do. Treat extensions like it is your own hair. Brush bottom first. Oil. Be gentle. Use shampoos and conditioners that you are familiar with and go well with extensions... With that being said, I put heat on my hair and the extensions at least twice a week. And it's still soft and healthy enough.
I also never had a bad experience with their customer service, I called to ask if they had recommendations on oils and they were helpful and sweet! I contacted to return the extra pack and they helped me. I never encountered a rude person, but also idk about you guys but if you're rude to someone they just might be rude back...
10/10 might ditch bellami forever for JZ hair bc its more affordable and same quality. Actually, maybe better. It IS softer and less coarse than bellami and even the stylists at my usual salon in jersey noticed too.
