i got the two week trial pass to go to their yoga classes!! they have the best instructors and so many classes to choose from, sunbathing for every experience and difficulty level.
studio and bathrooms are very nice and clean, i appreciated being able to use mats and equipment for free in the yoga classes. would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to learn yoga or stretch after a climb/lift!
About The Front Climbing Club - South Main
The Front Climbing Club - South Main is a premier climbing destination offering a wide range of activities. The facility features extensive bouldering, top rope, lead climbing, and auto belay routes, as well as yoga classes and a fully stocked gym. The cafe and ample seating make it a great spot to hang out before or after workouts. While some find it pricey, the high-quality equipment, great instructors, and accommodating staff make it a popular choice. The only drawback is the crowds, which are a testament to its popularity. The building is described as absolutely beautiful, with multiple floors of activities and options for bouldering or top rope climbing, plus multiple auto belays. The gym is well-stocked, and the views are great. The cafe on the second floor offers food and coffee. Fitness and yoga classes are available multiple times daily. Parking can be challenging, especially in the evenings and during the winter.
Reviews
I loved this gym! I've climbed at lots of different places, and this one has been one of my favorites. Staff was helpful, facilities were clean, and it there was a positive atmosphere. We were able to quickly get everyone certified for auto-belays, which gave us some good flexibility for climbing, even with beginners. I loved that there were three stories and a wide range of routes for every level, both for bouldering and top rope. Overall, I was impressed and pleased with my experience.
Great climbing gym. There are a wide variety of routes and boulders, of carrying levels of difficulty, which is what one expects from a climbing gym, but they have a lot of terrain, of various inclines, and five active auto-belays. They also provide a wide range of ancillary services, like yoga, fitness and even Jiu-Jitsu classes (I've not gone to any of those yet). They have an in house coffee shop and very pleasant seating areas. They have a wide range of weights and training machines, like treadmills, rowers, bikes, and stair climbers. One of my favorite things there: sauna. It's a great place to hangout and to get fit.
My one gripe is the lack of a ground floor bathroom.
