“Where do I even began! Both my kids are in the beginning classes and they absolutely love it!! Grand master, his lovely wife and all the staff here are always so kind, helpful and the kids think they are so fun!
They have parents night out often, they make sure your child is where they need to be to test for there next color belt and it’s overall such a great place for my kids to be apart of!
They also gave Easter eggs to 5 organizations, churches or businesses and I won they provided me with 500 Easter eggs and I was able to share with my sons soccer team and friends they had such a fun Easter hunt and all thanks to them! We appreciate y'all and will always recommend yall thank you!“

I had the opportunity to visit Select Jiu Jitsu while in Waco, and it was an absolutely top-notch experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making it easy to feel at home right away—even as a visitor.

Professor Lance is clearly a highly knowledgeable and experienced instructor. He communicates technique with clarity and patience, and it’s obvious he cares deeply about his students’ progress and the overall quality of the academy. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned practitioner, you’ll find his instruction both challenging and accessible.

The other students were warm, respectful, and inviting, which speaks volumes about the culture of the gym. There was no ego on the mats—just people who love Jiu Jitsu and are eager to train and grow together.

The facility itself was spotless—from the mats to the changing areas, everything was clean and well-maintained, which is so important in a grappling environment.
