02.19.2021 [Snowmageddon FEB 2021] Early Wednesday Morning (02.17.2021) we had a pipe burst in the ceiling of our dining-room that was feeding an outside faucet. After having the City Of Bullard Respond after hours to shut the water off within 10-15 minutes of the call, I called to get on the list with Rudd Plumbing and left a voicemail. I got a call back later that day, they apologized as the trucks were not running due to road hazards and would dispatch a truck as soon as the roads were better. They called before heading to my location today and quoted a price before repairing the pipe. Once the water was turned back on they waited, and we are glad they did, there turned out to be two more punctured copper pipes. Due to the number of repairs that they had already performed the other two leaks had to be cut off and capped. [That's alright because the snow-covered grass doesn't need any water.] Even after the additional caps were added they stuck with the originally quoted price. They also left the burst pipe sections for our insurance adjuster. We will be scheduling with Rudd Plumbing to replace the sections that were capped once the Adjuster can make it out to assess the damages. We have used Rudd Plumbing on two other occasions (Garbage Disposal Replacement and Water Heater expansion tank leak); each and every time we have had a pleasant experience, professional, and courteous service.
