Be prepared for a surprise when you go here. If your medicare insurance plan provides for a free annual eye exam, you may find out that you are being billed for a medical and diagnosis visit with the accompanying specialist copay. We went a few weeks ago for a routine eye exam which is covered 100% by our Medicare Advantage plan only to find out later that because the doctor discuss cataracts in our eyes, we were billed $25 each for our specialist copay. Every other eye exam we have had on a medicare advantage plan has been 100% covered but not here. My oncology doctor needed me to go see an ophthalmologist for a drug reaction to keytruda The old lady who called me to schedule the appointment was rude and unprofessional, and I scheduled my appointment when I arrived. The staff was very friendly, and I was ushered into the back. The gentleman that did the check up on me and most of the work was a super nice guy on par very polite, very professional. Recently I was sent by the VA to get my eyes checked at this Clinic. I had a very good experience there. The Staff, Examining Nurse, and Doctor was friendly and Professional. They got me in at the appointment time, explained what they were doing and Dr Lambson took plenty of time to explain what he saw so I could understand what was going on with my eyes. I would definitely recommend this Clinic.
