“Our home is 13+ years old. We’ve owned 3 years. Our 2 AC units are outside the wall of my bedroom. Since we moved in, whenever the AC kicked on I knew as such a loud roar but in the last month it had gotten louder. Next, the downstairs unit ran for 3 hours solid. We called All Pro as we’ve used before. Johnny came and within 10 minutes knew that unit motor was burnt out. He offered to replace but suggested he also check out the upstairs AC. He found Freon had leaked out. He explained cost of initial repairs and couldn’t guarantee those were only issues. (Could replace the motor & Freon but finding leak would take longer). I ask him to run numbers to replace. Repairs were going cost 1/3 of what replacing this 13-14 year old system (estimated to last 10-15 years). We bit the bullet and choose to replace. We couldn’t see putting out $2-4K on fixes that wouldn’t guarantee a longer expectancy.
We were scheduled 4 work days later. Johnny and Jeff called 8:05 & let us know they were on the way. They arrived shortly and went to work. These guys were so quiet and constantly working. They finished quicker than anticipated and no mess. Both AC’s, air changer, heat units etc were replaced with higher level efficiency seer ratings. Johnny answered our questions, made sure we understood the warranty’s and had no other concerns. I no longer hear the units kicking on and the cooling is more “thorough”-hard to describe.
I’m a senior citizen and they cut labor prices as well “forgave” the 1st visit on our only bill. It’s pricey but after googling our CenTex area AC replacement pricing we KNOW we got a great deal.
We couldn’t be more happy. We’ve used 2 other AC companies but have found our permanent AC & heat service provider. Thank you AllPro. You ALL are true PROfessionals.“
