This year, the outdoor unit finally gave up. I believe I spoke with a man named Vecen or Vecin (apologies if that is incorrect spelling), and he was contacting the manufacturer and responding very promptly in relaying the information back to me. He gave very fair quotes and was polite and professional. I was very appreciative of his time and effort to help me and wanted to leave a review to hopefully recognize him!
