The Guitar Dojo is an amazing place! Students have been taking lessons for years, and everyone is really talented and great with kids. The Dojo offers voice, guitar, and drums for all ages, including adult guitar. The music education for kids covers reading, chords, and music theory while maintaining a relaxed environment. Instructors are always building on and fostering knowledge and abilities, making every visit fun. Being part of this musical community gives students the opportunity to develop their skills and the confidence to play with other musicians. Everyone is very kind, and it is clear they love what they do. Teachers have a ton of experience when it comes to performing. All of the teachers are outstanding, and it is highly recommended!
We love the Guitar Dojo! We have 3 kids taking lessons here (voice, guitar, drums - age range 5-10). Our 10 year-old is also in a band that rehearses weekly, and I take adult guitar. As a musician in a former life, I have been happy with their music education for kids (reading, chords, music theory) while also maintaining a relaxed environment. Highly recommend!
My son has been taking guitar lessons at the Dojo for over 3 years. His teacher(Travis) is always building on and fostering his knowledge and abilities. Derek and all the instructors make every visit fun. If you are looking for music lessons, THE DOJO is the place to go.
I started taking lessons there a little over a year ago, and I’ve learned so much. Being part of this musical community has given me the opportunity to develop my drumming and given me the confidence to play with other musicians. I would encourage anyone who’s interested in playing an instrument to head over to the Dojo!
