George is a FANTASTIC teacher! He is very patient, kind, and knowledgeable. His method of instruction is easy to understand and build upon. I feel like I found a diamond in the rough by coming to Pop Band Academy of Music (PBAoM)! Learning the guitar and piano from George has been one of the highlights of my life and I am really proud of the progress that he has helped me achieve. As a non-native San Antonian, I am grateful to feel like I have found a small community through PBAoM. If you are interested in learning the right technique for guitar or piano, I could not recommend George and PBAoM enough!! He is worth both the time and the monetary investment. 5 stars!

Great way to learn to play the piano or guitar. The system is fun and easy and you are playing as soon as you start your 1st class. I have been taking piano lessons for about 2 months and I cannot beleive how far I have progressed. I love the group environment, especially when we all play together (jam). Highly recommedn!!

I have been taking George Martinez's group music lessons for 2 years. I worked on learning to play both guitar and piano. You get individual instruction periodically during class since class size is not too large. I really liked his unique method of progressively adding new chords, rhythms, arpegios, and other skills to about 50 pop songs every one plays during class. You might be playing piano next to someone learning the guitar. If you miss a class, George allows you to come for a free make up class!
