“Our husky was going on his 3rd birthday and hadn’t been successfully groomed yet! He isn’t typically an aggressive dog, but when it came to getting him groomed it was impossible. After being so discouraged we came across Crystal’s gentle grooming and she reassured us that she could take care of him. From start to finish she was very attentive! Booking the appointment was easy. As nervous as we were to transition him into the shop, he gave us no issues! Throughout the service we received video and picture updates and he did great the entire time! She took her time and because of her patience he showed zero aggression, even when she had to work his sensitive areas! The 40 minute drive was definitely worth the time and her prices reasonable for the effort she shows! Military discounts available! She did such a good job, he didn’t want to leave! “Our three furry children have been with Dominion Vet for the last 4-5 years. They have always gone above and beyond for our routine puppy-dog needs, serving as a perfect home base for our dogs; an easy 5 star review. Yesterday Dominion vet’s resources and capability was tested beyond what I ever thought possible. My golden doodle (RUTHIE) was violently attacked by another much larger dog, resulting in massive blood loss from bites to her neck. She had little time and was bleeding profusely despite my family efforts at holding pressure. We live nearby, however the 1 mile trek felt like an eternity. Dominion vet was called and alerted of my family’s arrival and frantic state. Upon pulling into the parking lot, the team was ready and waiting in the parking to recover a blood soaked and actively bleeding nearly lifeless Ruthie. The entire team’s response was TV worthy and honestly unexpected from our neighborhood primary care. “CLEAR A TABLE!” Was yelled out from parking lot upon entering the clinic. Doctor Armstrong and Dr. Shaw were immediately on scene and began shouting out orders while also initiating emergent hemorrhage control, volume replacement through immediate IV access, obtaining STAT labs, all while simultaneously coordinating transfer to Mission Vet ER and offering reassurance to my panic-stricken mother. This is the “take over” feeling we all need during times of absolute helplessness. Ruthie needed blood and needed it fast. An employee whose animal was a universal blood donor was called for standby in case Ruthie was delayed in her transfer. Literally cannot believe he selflessness of these people! Upon acceptance and coordination of transfer to Mission Vet, the team saw how distraught my mother was and loaded Ruthie up ( without any question or hesitation) in the facility administrators van and transferred Ruthie themselves to Mission Vet with IV’s running. Ruthie rode accompanied with staff and my mother following. Both Mission vet and Dr Armstrong and Dr Shaw were in constant contact with one another, relaying information to myself and my wife about Ruth’s progress. Upon arrival Ruthie received the blood she needed and responded better than expected, giving her some improved prognosis at life. Her condition remains guarded however she remains in the fight only because of the quick response and expertise of Dominion Vet. My wife and I both work in emergency medicine. This would be considered a perfectly executed code and coordinated transfer to a higher level of care. An absolute perfect combination of professionalism, expertise, leadership, and genuine compassion. We are very great full for your care. A 5 star review simply does not capture the amazing level of care that was provided.“

“im very picky when it comes to Cesar my fur baby and his groomer that I have found here is approved in my book. He got a wonderful cut exactly the way I wanted him. No nicks . Had to bathe him on 2 separate occasions but right away she said bring him back in and she would handle it because of Texas allergies. Thanks so much and we definitely plan on going back to you“

“This is a great place staffed by a caring animal lovers. The space itself is large, open and bright. The receptionists are friendly and accommodating. The doctor who saw my cat was so knowledgeable and gave me and my cat her undivided attention. One veterinarian I saw before her appeared to be in a hurry. He was not personable, gave me a quick hello, looked at my cat's lip and was gone. His attendants took care of the rest. I didn't even get to meet one vet in South S.A.. Never even saw her! I went home to wait, my cat was trapped in his carrier for 4 hours and then she called me on the phone and explained to me what was wrong. I had a hard time understanding her since she had a rather pronounced accent. She said I could come and pick up my cat, which I did. I paid the bill and the receptionist handed over my cat. Towne North doesn't operate this way. They truly care about animals' well-being and comfort as well as the owner's satisfaction. I highly recommend them.“

“I came to San Antonio because my mom was hospitalized and not doing well at the time. I had to bring my puppy, Buddy but he wasn’t allowed in the ICU. I searched online and found Good Dog was located on the way to the hospital from my hotel.
It was amazing! Buddy was a bit nervous but after his initial “test” he was in!!! When I picked him up the young lady at the front desk told me how great Buddy was and shared how a few things about his day. I told my phone had died on the way and I had no way to navigate back to my hotel…she offered me their charging cable…way above what I expected! Buddy was so excited when we returned the next 3 days!!!!?
They made a stressful time so much easier! Thanks to all the staff❤️

Zeke is a four year-old miniature Aussie Shepherd, and ever since we’ve owned them for the last three years we’ve always given him just a trim and left him long hair. This time because of the extreme heat …we asked Sora, His stylus to clip him much shorter so that he could be comfortable when he goes outside.. She did a wonderful job. Zeke is very comfortable with her and he really appreciates her wonderful treatment. He looks beautiful. He was happy when I came to pick him up and Look like she had any bite marks on …just joking. He had a wonderful experience his mom and I appreciate the way he looks and the prices right wonderful, wonderful place. Wonderful people thank you so much.“
