Incredible experience here today. From the fabulous lady who took my blood and emotionally made me feel better ( I wish I knew her name to give her a shout). Dr. Larson was fantastic and empathetic, and gave me all the resources I needed. He called in an emergency therapist for me because he saw the despair in my eyes, and she was fantastic as well. The elderly pharmacist lady was also lovely, so sweet.
I just felt like they cared about me. I haven't felt that way in awhile. You guys are great and keep up the amazing work. I genuinely love you for helping me out today.
BLUF: Much better than having to drive all the way downtown to Audie Murphy, and this clinic has made VA appointments far more manageable for me.
The Northwest San Antonio VA Clinic is clean, well-maintained, and has plenty of parking, which already makes the experience less stressful before you even walk in. The staff has always been friendly and respectful during my visits, and overall the facility feels more modern and organized than some older VA locations.
The main downside is still the wait times at times, which is why I’m keeping it at four stars instead of five. There’s also a different atmosphere compared to civilian hospitals —...read full review
The place is nice. Because of its size, it comes with it's internal navigation challenges. The navigation, if this is your first time, is deplorable. One of the few times I'd recommend a different map. Google will have you on the back docs of the place behind VA. So, be careful.
