My wife and I were driving across the country from Florida to California, and we had planned a quick overnight stop in San Antonio. Unfortunately, our trip took a terrible turn when our Airbnb was broken into. We ended up at the Makara at 1:00 AM, completely shaken up, exhausted, and stressed.

Room was nice size, we had a soaking tub too. View was non-existent but the staff was extremely friendly. I personally will probably never return but that has nothing to do with the hotel - more so the area. Whole lot of nothing here. Who ever marketed this area did a great job.
