We are a family of four with two little kids. We had two dogs. The cleaning fee is a one time fee for the length of our stay we stayed for a couple days so the one time fee was worth it for us versus $50/night/dog. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very clean. The rooms were as pictured. Staff was very very helpful. We had gotten massages too. The therapists were very knowledgeable.Edit: I stayed here with my husband. We can sometimes be separated as a family due to his job but we have been lucky and haven’t had to do this in years. My two daugthers have missed their father since before Christmas. We decided to come together for a weekend in San Antonio....read full review

You are not ready for this a stay at the Mokara Hotel and Spa is an experience you won't forget. The Staff from the Door to the Desk to the Spa to the Guest services is professional and on point and so kind; and the food from the restaurant is so delicious; As I said; You are not ready for this.Rooms: Luxurious accommodation, Relaxing atmosphere, Great viewsNearby activities: Located nearby the Hard Rock and Riverwalk amenitiesWalkability: Walking distance to many Downtown activities and restaurants.Food & drinks: Rooftop Cafe, Ostra Restaurant, Spa AmenitiesNoteworthy details: In the Building of a Historical Saddlery the ambiance is tasteful.

I had an amazing stay at the Mokara hotel from start to finish. I made a last minute move from another hotel after a miserable night and was so happy I did so. Even though I checked in very early they were able to get me into a room right away. The room itself was gorgeous (large, spotless, high ceilings, amazing bathroom, comfortable bed) with lovely amenities (Nespresso coffee machine, free bottled water, high quality toiletries) and was very quiet (despite being downtown and right on the Riverwalk) and comfortable.
