They welcomed my teen, who is a wheelchair user, and didn't blink at making accommodations for her. The training was a mix of demonstration, explanation for the technique, and plenty of time for repetition and practice.“

1432 Austin Hwy UNIT 102, San Antonio“Victory Martial Arts is truly an outstanding organization. From the moment we walked in, I knew this was the right place for my son. The Master is incredibly involved—not just during class, but outside of the gym as well. The level of care and commitment to each student’s growth is something you don’t see every day.
They focus on more than just martial arts techniques; they teach discipline, respect, and perseverance—values that carry over into every area of life. After seeing the positive changes in my son within just three months, I didn’t hesitate to sign up the entire family. It’s more than a gym—it’s a community, and we’re so grateful to be a part of it.“

7860 Mainland Dr Suite 101, San Antonio“I recently signed my elementary aged child up for their after school program. The family that owns this place are SO genuine and sweet! The teenage daughter helps out and provided the tour. She is an absolute doll! The prices. I had my kid in after school daycare, and I'm saving $200 a MONTH with her being here! She's payed attention to, she's learning a level of respect that no parent can teach their child. She's stimulated and getting exercise and being shown an amount of kindness and understanding you rarely find anymore. I cannot stress enough the personability this family has. People of all ages can learn here. They have a gym for members, for family members of members. They have women's defense classes! They have so much here, and I am a little bitter about leaving this review because this little gem is amazing. But I also cant keep it to myself because everyone deserves diamonds ^.^“

4963 Stahl Rd #106, San Antonio“Great place to come for both adults and kids. Fantastic instructors and the Sensei is very good. Both jujitsu and karate are very easy to learn a pick up thanks to the instructors. Easy to understand progression as well as life applicable topics through discipline and focus. Been training here for almost 7 years now and both the kids and adult classes are unmatched in friends you can meet, fun you can have as well as actually learn how to protect yourself and not just karate.“

12355 Potranco Rd Suite 104, San Antonio“During the past two years, I have been training Japanese Jiu-Jitsu under the instruction of Sensei Eduardo De La Garza. I had always wanted to do some form of martial arts, but never got around to it. What kept me away from training martial arts and more specifically Jiu-Jitsu, was that most places seemed competition based and I had heard a lot of stories about serious injuries. As someone in their thirties, these were the two biggest issues for me before I began my training and this is where Sensei Eduardo really excels. Training at Eduar-Do has the perfect balance of competition, real life training and safety. We train hard, we train competitively, but we also train safely. I have had no injuries to date. All of the fellow classmates I have encountered have been great to work with and have a great understanding of what our training is about. No one here has an ego and everyone works hard to bring the best out of each other. I have seen improvement not just in Japanese Jiu Jitsu, but in my overall strength, conditioning and mindset. The real life situational training has also provided me peace of mind if I were to ever be in a situation that required self defense. When you factor in the quality of instruction and the cost of the classes, there is no greater value in Japanese Jiu Jitsu than training under the instruction of Sensei Eduardo De La Garza. It has been an amazing experience so far and I look forward to improving more and more at Eduar-Do.“

12116 Radium St, San Antonio“I went here as a kid seven years ago and loved it. The instructor was super awesome and i learned so much from him. I have carried that momentum for years and it truly did change my life. I can still do lots of the moves that I learned. This place was a huge boost of confidence and I am glad to see that the same instructor is still there after all this time. You could find this somewhere on Facebook, but I did a 180 degree angle with my legs while doing a sidekick. One doesn’t go here and just learn some fancy foot flicks, it’s a place to learn discipline and gain confidence.“

1583 Thousand Oaks Dr #111, San Antonio“Within just a few weeks of my son transferring from a different studio to this one, we noticed a significant improvement in his forms and how sharp he looked doing them. We like that they don’t nickel and dime you every time there is a belt test. Testing and belts are included in the tuition. I felt that the previous studio felt obligated to promote kids that weren’t really ready to be promoted because they had paid extra to test.“

21019 U.S. Hwy 281 S Ste. 818, San Antonio“Our son has changed so much. We are so proud of him and his accomplishment. Master O'Hara has been phenomenal and Mr. Martindale is fantastic. We are amazed by the staff and not only the staff but our son and everythingg he has learned in a year. He learned leadership. He learned confidence. He learned how to be his own person. We are so grateful for you all! Thank you.“

9585 Braun Rd, San Antonio“Professional, clear, demanding, yet encouraging. Be happy the owners don't excel at every form of martial arts or their trophy cabinet would be an entire room and every studio would fear them. Beautiful community with concise expectations. We wouldn't want any other studio to train with. #LongLiveKoreaNorthAmericaTaekwondo“

20711 Wilderness Oak #106, San Antonio“I've been emailing and calling different gyms to find a class for my son. He'll be turning 3 in a few days. There are a few who will take them not potty trained yet. I let them know he's on pull ups and it was fine. They got back to me promptly with emails and got him into a trial class within a couple days. We got there and one of owners Juliana greeted us. She was super nice and friendly, explained everything and got a practice gi for my son. The other owner came and met us as well and took my son into the practice area to meet the coaches. They all were very kind and friendly. He had no problems at all. I was worried he would be too young and wouldn't be able to understand. After the class I met with coach Chris and he reassured me he did well and it would be good for him. I met with Juliana again to go over the breakdown and fees and how things work. They have a great promo right now til June 22nd. After leaving I knew we picked the right gym for my son. Everyone was friendly and they were all great with kids. Definitely recommend“

4141 Naco Perrin Blvd, San Antonio“I can’t say enough great things about this Judo dojo. The coaching here is truly exceptional—every instructor is knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in each student’s growth. They don’t just teach technique; they teach discipline, respect, and life skills that carry far beyond the mat. What really sets this place apart is the family atmosphere. Everyone is welcoming, supportive, and encouraging, creating a strong sense of community that makes you feel like you belong from day one. Whether you’re training for competition, self-defense, or personal development, this dojo offers an environment where students of all ages can thrive. Highly recommended for anyone looking for top-quality coaching and a positive, family-friendly place to train!“
