“Edit: I am editing and upgrading my review due numerous factors. I initially posted my review rather hastily and I take full accountability for that. After posting my review, I was contacted by Jaime with Glo Tanning Corporate in regard to my experience. Unbeknownst to me, the franchisee owner relinquished their Glo Tanning locations back to Corporate, I believe, citing no longer having an interest in their continued representation of Glo Tanning.
Glo Tanning does not have any requirement to provide me with this information, though it did wonders in shedding light on the current state.
Upon taking over these locations, Corporate evaluated their current state, to include but not limited to, building upkeep, and machinery life cycles. Corp thus made the decision to initiate a modernization of the facility and machines. I have since visited the location twice since my initial review and am amazed at what they have already accomplished. The new beds are amazing, and I can not wait to see what other changes are planned as the work continues today. The staff has always been amazing and I have never encountered any issues in their regard. The quick response from Jaime, to gain insight and an understanding of what my experience entailed, was simply a whole new level of expeditious. I am grateful that she cared enough, not only about her clients but also the future of Glo Tanning as a whole. I have since rescinded my decision in cancelation of my membership and look forward to continued business with Glo Tanning in the years to come.
Canceled my account today after being a customer for over 2 years. Went into #20 bed, and more than half of the bulbs are burned out. That is not an exaggeration. I counted. The two face lamps that cover the ride side of your face are out as well. Why is this bed not shutdown until they can be replaced? You'd rather put paying customers in a bed that provides less tanning than walking to your car? This is an amazing statement about the management, ownership, and how much they care about providing customers with what they're paying for. As long as they get your payment each month it doesn't matter the quality of service they provide. Customers are paying full price and not getting full value in return. Very disappointing. Everything seems to have gone down the drain since the last manager left. She managed more than just this location and was there quite often. Since she left, I've never seen the new manager. I don't even know who she is.”
