She took the time to write down my entire eye history and performed various tests for my eyes. She was engaging, personable, and efficient. I did not feel rushed at all. Her calm demeanor set me at ease and making me feel safe and cared for. I really think she did a phenomenal job and I was very impressed with the quality of care she gave me and how she treated me with dignity as a human being; not just a number to get me in and out as quickly as possible. Sadly, that has been my experience at other eye clinics. So, I am overwhelmingly pleased with my first visit with Ms. Carla as my ophthalmic technician. She was very, very good at what she does. Taking my pressure manually, explaining each drop; the numbing and the dilation. Making sure I understood everything before proceeding. It is very, very rare nowadays to find a medical assistant like that and I am so grateful I was able to find that today in Ms. Carla.

Other good mentions is for Dr. Patel and his medical scribe. They worked together in such a smooth way. Dr. Patel took his time to look into my eyes very, very thoroughly and told me what was going on. Ive been having this mysterious eye issue and I don't know what else to do. He gave me very practical things to do next and I felt listened to. He's a good doctor. The medical scribe wrote down my routine for me and she was very thorough about explaining my eye care routine for at-home treatment.

The lady at the front desk, both check-in and check-out ladies were polite. I have no insurance issues so far--and this is from someone who has primary and secondary insurance (this is both a blessing and a burden navigating two insurances), and they were able to take both insurances.

Other mentions: The only thing is that that building is quite old. I would like it to be more inviting or have new fixtures, but that shouldn't discourage one to not come here. It's definitely something small to improve on, but otherwise I was very impressed with the service I received.
