About Brain Balance Center of Lubbock
The Brain Balance Center of Lubbock offers a customized, non-medicated approach to help students overcome behavioral, social, and academic challenges. The program includes sensory-motor skill training, nutritional guidance, academic work, and confidence building. With over 45,000 families helped, the center has experience in addressing issues such as lack of focus, impulsiveness, tantrums, learning challenges, and family/social relationships. Students with diagnoses like ADHD, learning disorders, processing disorders, and behavioral issues have also seen significant improvements. The dedicated and helpful staff at the Lubbock location provide support and information for both students and their families, as well as the teachers at school. My daughter completed her program with Brain Balance and it has been life changing. I was skeptical at first and the changes didn’t happen overnight night, but with consistent effort and support, it’s hard to deny the results. My 6 yr old daughter had a very hard time staying focused and it really started affecting her learning. She would have big emotions and outbursts that would turn a simple task into a long exhausting task for her AND me. She was overwhelmed easy and you had to give her instructions one step at a time or she couldn’t focus and would have a melt down. The staff is so attentive and compassionate. They have truly help my son develop life coping skills. We had a 16 week program and my son didn’t want to graduate, he just enjoyed it so much.
I cannot express my gratitude for this place enough. I came in with my son avoiding homework like the plague, my son refused to learn how to read school had him in all kinds of tutorials, it was hard for me as a mother to do everything that I could and just see that I was just pushing him away. We stared this program in March, by his next school year the change is 180 degrees! My son is getting all kinds of compliments from the teachers he calls me to start on his homework now I mostly just supervise him our life has changed in ways I never imagined could.
